Frequently Asked Questions

What are the Goals of the FirstJobs Institute?

  • Inspire and motivate young people to become successful business leaders.
  • Foster a more encouraging and transparent perception of American business leaders.

How do I make a contribution to support your program?

The FirstJobs Institute is incorporated and classified by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(6) organization. Contributions are tax-deductible as business expenses as allowed by law and fund FirstJobs educational efforts, job resources, and media outreach. Corporate or business contributors will be invited to submit first job profiles of up to five leading executives in your company.

Can you help me find my first job?

At this time, the FirstJobs Institute does not provide job listings. There are several online search engines that can help you target your search for entry-level jobs in your city that interest you. Local newspapers and job boards are also great resources for finding your first job.

I’m a successful community leader who learned a lot in my first job; can I be featured on First Jobs?
